Action Man

Recently I have been learning the 3Delight renderer. I have been very surprised how easy it has been to transfer over from using Pixar’s renderman products, its alot easier for artists to setup multiple passes for compositing, and the kind chaps even give you the first 2 rendering threads for free.

This ActionMan utilizes the excellent image based lighting (IBL) shaders, calculated using point clouds. Got this rendered lightening quick,  even with expensive stuff like motion blur, displacement (on the hair and towel).
