3D Industry Experience

I’ve been working in the 3D industry for quite a while now, here’s a quick summary of  my employment over the years:

2008-2010 – I am now the director of Bigman Ltd. Recent clients include Bacardi, Pauffley, Playgroup, Scottish Widows, Sony London, Superfad and Unichrome.

2008 – 6 month contract as a modeller/texture artist at the Moving Picture Company (MPC), London. Film projects included ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’, ‘Dance Flick’, ‘GI Joe’ and ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’.

2007 / 2008 – Worked as a freelance character artist for Evolution Studios on the million selling no.1 PS3 games: ‘Motorstorm’, ‘Motorstorm 2’ and a very exciting unannounced title due in 2009.

2005 / 2007 – Employed as a character artist at Pandemic Studios in Brisbane, Australia. My role involved creating high quality characters and reviewing out-sourced work.

I worked on a wealth of XBOX360 / PS3 titles including big-budget games: ‘Saboteur’, ‘Batman’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’. Before this I was creating and co-ordinating gigantic points-ofinterestwithin the Environment department for the title ‘DestroyAll Humans 2’ (XBOX and PS2).

2004 / 2005 – 3D Artist at Evolution Studios. Produced environment and vehicle assets for ‘WRC04’ & ‘WRC Evolution’ on PS2.

2002 / 2003 -Employed as a 2D/3D graphic artist at Tiertex Design producing Game Boy Advance games. I also developed a number of concepts for mobile phone and GBA games.

2001 / 2004 – Freelanced for clients like DisneyToon Studios Australia, One Agency, Story agency, Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank, Forest Interactive, Lonsdale Australia, Sunburnt Pictures, Drapes Fabrics, OEA Architects, Phoenix Aid, Anzak Productions, SwitchStyle UK, The Living Sea and VHQ Post Production.
